Fragility Analysis of Wind-Induced Collapse of a Transmission Tower Considering Corrosion

To investigate the variation law of wind-resistant performance transmission towers during their operation, this paper proposes an evaluation method for wind resistance tower considering corrosion, and a 220-kV is analyzed as example. Considering uncertainty material geometric parameters, wind-induced collapse was analyzed, speeds were obtained via pushover incremental dynamic analyses. In addition, sensitivity to various parameters analyzed. Based on existing meteorological corrosion data, prediction models established using back-propagation (BP) artificial neural network, mean relative error between predicted measured values test samples 8.91%. On basis, depth members in four regions predicted, fragility effects strong winds. The results show that speed most significantly affected by thickness angle steel, followed elastic modulus yield strength, less width steel. When exposure time 25 years, with severe acid rain coastal industrial decreased 10% 20%. With increase time, failure mode tended be brittle failure.
